Summer is right around the corner and we're looking forward to being able to sit outside on a hot day and enjoy a cold beverage. Here are a few ideas on how to give your water some added personality and create an even more refreshing drink.
Cranberry Raspberry Water
1/2 cup of whole cranberries
1/2 cup of raspberries
1 tbsp of lemon flavoured honey
Place ingredients into 2 litre jug. Pour 2 cups of boiling water over ingredients. Stir until honey has dissolved. Fill the remaining jug with cold water. Refrigerate. Serve.
Cucumber Lime Water
slice one whole cucumber into 1/4” pieces
slice one lime into wedges
1 tbsp of lemon flavoured honey
Place cucumbers into 2 litre jug. Squeeze lime wedges over cucumbers. Place lime wedges in with cucumbers. Stir honey into cucumbers and limes. Fill the remaining jug with cold water. Refrigerate. Serve.
Strawberry Orange Water
1/2 cup of cubed strawberries
slice one orange into wedges
Place strawberries into 2 litre jug. Squeeze orange wedges over strawberries. Place orange wedges in with strawberries. Fill the remaining jug with cold water. Refrigerate. Serve.
Apple Cinnamon Water
slice one Granny Smith apple into 1/4” pieces
2 cinnamon sticks
Place cinnamon sticks into 2 litre jug. Pour 2 cups of boiling water over cinnamon sticks. Let cool. Add apple slices. Fill the remaining jug with cold water. Refrigerate. Serve.
