There were 529 sales reported in areas 1-5 of Saskatoon during June, an increase of 13% over last year when there were 470 reported sales during the month. This is an increase of 7% from last month which saw 493 sales. Areas 6-9, which include acreages and the communities surrounding the city, reported 159 sales during the month, an increase of 36% from last June when there were 117 sales. This is a slight increase of one sale over last month's 158 transactions. 


The average selling price of a home in Saskatoon rose 3% from last June to $361,770. The average selling price in areas 6-9 increased 2% from last year to $302,033.


There were 907 homes listed for sale in Saskatoon during June, a significant increase of 21% from last June when there were only 750 sales listed for sale during the month. Areas 6-9 had 342 new listings come on to the market in June, an increase of 13% from the same month last year which had 302.
