The Blairmore Suburban Centre, or Blairmore S.C. for short, has been designed for a mix of commercial, residential and civic space. It is Saskatoon's newest developed area on the west side of the city. Currently Blairmore S.C. has primarily focused on commercial and civic development; Walmart Supercentre, several box stores, hotels and Saskatoon's premier civic facility the Shaw Centre. Since Blairemore S.C. is a large area, it will ultimately house seven smaller residential neighbourhoods. Kensington is the first neighbourhood planned for development. The neighbourhood was approved by city council in 2011.
You can enjoy numerous activities at the Shaw Centre, which includes a large indoor swimming pool which will host competitive swimming events and seats unto 750 spectators, an indoor walking track, a fitness facility and much more.
Unfortunately there are no average house prices for this area because it is a designated retail/commercial area. New neighbourhoods are in the process of being developed.
