Exhibition, formerly known as Thorton, is a neighbourhood located on the east side of the South Saskatchewan River. If you are a history buff, you'll enjoy the fact that much of the Exhibition neighbourhood began developing in the late 1800s up and until World War II. The original founders of the Exhibition area, now a neighbourhood, the Pendygrasse Family, built the Pendygrasse Home in 1910 which still lies there and has now been declared a municipal heritage site.

The Exhibition neighbourhood is ideally located close to many unique amenities. Diefenbaker Park, which is home to Diefenbaker Hill, is a popular park year-round with walking trails along the river, tobogganing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, frisbee golf, the annual Canada Day celebrations and fireworks and much more. The Western Development Museum, Prairieland Park, which hosts the annual Saskatoon Exhibition, Marquis Downs, a live Thoroughbred horse racing track, the private member Saskatoon Golf and Country Club and Stonegate Shopping Centre are all within minutes of the Exhibition neighbourhood. As well, residents are within 5 kilometres of downtown Saskatoon.
