You'll find the residential neighbourhood of Fairhaven within the Confederation Suburban Development Area of west Saskatoon. Most of the homes in this area were built in the 1970s and 1980s.


Fairhaven includes the 21-acre Herbert S. Sears Park. This park provides sports courts and fields, paths for walking, playgrounds and other amenities. A community association plans activities for the residents of Fairhaven; these include fitness and sports programs. Additional recreational services can be found at the Shaw Centre; public swimming, a fitness room,an  indoor walking track and much more.


There is not much commercial space in this residential neighbourhood, but there is have some convenience stores to pick up whatever necessities you may need. Just outside of this community, you'll find Confederation Park Mall, Plaza 22 and the Blairmore Suburban Centre.
