The Kelsey/Woodlawn community is located in north-central Saskatoon. This is a smaller and older neighbourhood as most homes were built before before 1960. Some of the streets have been named after former governor generals of Canada. The Saskatchewan Applied Institute of Science and Technology, also known as SIAST, is a fixture in this neighbourhood. SIAST offers 160 programs in business and agriculture, health and science, technology, industry, nursing, hospitality services, community services and basic education. In addition, SIAST provides training to apprentices in almost 30 trades.

The Harry Bailey Aquatic Centre is close by which is operated by the City of Saskatoon. You and your family can enjoy public swimming as well as use of the indoor climbing wall and fitness room. Harry Bailey is host to many club activities such as speed swimming, diving, synchronized swimming and water polo.

There are many retail, commercial and business services available in this neighbourhood. Downtown Saskatoon is a stone's throw away offering restaurants, more shopping and nightlife entertainment.
