Richmond Heights is located just north of City Park in Saskatoon’s north-central area. The development of this neighbourhood began in the early 1970s and it is comprised mostly of smaller single-family homes. It is just a few minutes from the South Saskatchewan River and allows for easy access to the paths along the Meewasin Valley. If you’re feeling a little more romantic, a stroll across the CPR Bridge makes for a gorgeous evening with views of the wildlife along the river as well as the lit-up weir.
There is plenty of park space in this neighbourhood with football, soccer and baseball fields as well as a paddling pool, basketball courts and a tobogganing hill. The Mall at Lawson Heights is just a short drive away and houses a grocery store, a drugstore, retail shopping and much more.
