In the middle of Saskatoon, right near the University of Saskatchewan, you will find the lovely neighbourhood of Varsity View. Much of the development of this neighbourhood was due to the opening of the university in 1907. Not only does Varsity View have large beautiful character homes but also has apartments and smaller houses available for rent, ideal for university students. Within the last few years, this neighbourhood has begun to see new homes replace old houses. In the early 2000s, an ambitious young developer, Kolisnek Developments, purchased the old houses along the 1100 block of College Drive, directly across the street from the University of Saskatchewan, and has since replaced the dilapidated buildings with a beautiful luxury condominium development. The architectural design for J.B. Black luxury condominiums nicely compliments to look of the neighbourhood, almost like a modern-day Frank Lloyd Wright with a multi-family design twist.

Aside from being close to the University of Saskatchewan, Varsity View is ideally located to other amenities found in neighbouring communities; the 8th Street business district, the Field House, the Albert Community Centre and so much more.
